Frankreichs ehemaliger Staatschef Nicolas Sarkozy muss in einem weiteren Justizverfahren wegen illegaler Wahlkampffinanzierung eine sechsmonatige Haftstrafe verbüßen. Das Kassationsgericht in Paris bestätigte ein entsprechendes Urteil, nachdem der 70-Jährige Revision eingelegt hatte, wie es in einer Mitteilung hieß.
