Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Decision 2025/377 of 24 February 2025 concerning restrictive measures in view of activities undermining the stability and political tr

BRUSSELS, 19 March 2025 / PRN Africa / -- On 24 February 2025, the Council adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/3771.

The Council has decided that the entries for the two persons listed by the UNSC Committee established pursuant to UNSC Resolution 1591(2005) in November 2024 should be deleted from the list of natural persons of the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135.

Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
