Swiss Merchant Group AG has acquired a 56 percent stake in Helvetic Immobilien AG, marking an important strategic step in expanding its Swiss real estate business. As part of the transaction, the Group also secured a portion of a five-year bond tranche issued by Helvetic Immobilien portfolio company PNEU Bösiger AG (ISIN: CH1468561167) with an attractive annual interest rate of 6.75 percent. PNEU Bösiger AG, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, is now one of Switzerland's established, traditional companies. What began as a car and tire dealership has evolved over the years into a leading provider of luxury vehicles in German-speaking Switzerland – complemented by a high-quality real estate portfolio comprising 47 properties in the Canton of Bern. Helvetic Immobilien AG specializes in residential and commercial properties in German-speaking Switzerland and pursues a long-term, value-oriented investment strategy. In addition to existing properties, the company focuses on sustainable project developments with stable return potential.
