Our Innovation Journey Epilepsy affects approximately 1 to 3 percent of the population[1], and despite medical interventions, about 30 percent of patients continue to grapple with seizures[2]. I n response to this challenge, our dedicated team at PRECISIS GmbH has developed a groundbreaking neurostimulation device—an efficient brain stimulator designed to alleviate or remove the burden of symptoms for epilepsy patients. This unique stimulator is implanted directly under the scalp, allowing precise brain stimulation without any physical contact with the brain. The therapy is customizable and programmable via a tablet, ensuring a personalized treatment approach.
