FairCap exits the AdriaTronics manufacturing site to Star Tech Trieste, directly controlled by Star Tech Industries Milan – FairCap sells all assets and operations related to the AdriaTronics manufacturing site, which will operate under the name Star Tech Trieste starting October 1st , 2025. Star Tech Trieste is directly controlled by Star Tech Industries, a company active in the field of consulting and investment in aerospace, dual-use technologies, defense and optoelectronics. Headquartered in Trieste, the AdriaTronics manufacturing site is a historical facility focused on advanced manufacturing services. The AdriaTronics manufacturing site was acquired beginning of 2025 from the Singaporean–American multinational Flex Ltd. This marks the 3rd successful exit to a strategic investor since the establishment of FairCap. Under FairCap’s ownership, AdriaTronics has initiated several business development activities, leading to a significant expansion of the sales pipeline. In addition, the ERP system was separated with the help of FairCap’s operations professionals. The local management team played a central role throughout the transition. General Manager Nicola Graffi highlighted the collaborative effort behind the deal: “This achievement was made possible above all by the close collaboration between the AdriaTronics team and FairCap’s operational and M&A teams. Their combined efforts were key to making this milestone a success.” The new owner plans to introduce advanced photonics manufacturing at the facility, focusing on producing third-generation optical transceivers for data centers. With an investment volume of €80 million, Star Tech Industries intends to maintain the current workforce of 333 employees, with potential to increase staffing to 420 as production reaches full capacity.
