(“Fane”) to 100% in line with its strategic objectives. Having previously held a 74.5% interest in Fane through its group subsidiary KMJ Entertainment, DEAG is now acquiring the remaining 25.5% via its group subsidiary DEAG Concerts GmbH from company founder and Fane CEO Alex Fane. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price, which consists of a cash component and 800,000 DEAG shares from a capital increase in kind. With this transaction, Alex Fane becomes a DEAG shareholder, underscoring his commitment to DEAG, for which Fane represents an important part of the group. Company founder Alex Fane will continue to lead Fane Productions and, together with his team will implement the next stages of growth. With the increase of its stake in Fane, DEAG is successfully continuing the implementation of its buy-and-build strategy and is systematically reducing minority interests in its group companies. The transaction also utilizes funds from DEAG’s recently and very successfully placed corporate bond 2025/2029. Founded in 2017, Fane became part of the DEAG Group in 2021 and has continued to expand its leading market position in the UK in the Spoken Word & Literary Events segment. With strong revenue growth rates and continuous growth in operating earnings Fane contributes significantly to DEAG’s positive overall result. Fane operates offices in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia and the USA and organises hundreds of live and digital events every year across the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the USA and Canada. These include interviews, readings, live podcasts, theatre performances and book launches, attracting more than 700,000 ticket buyers annually.
