Vancouver, British Columbia, July 2, 2008. The Smartstox Online TV Talk Show is alerting subscribers and other resource stock investors to the recent developments announced by these Smartstox-profiled companies.
Canadian Arrow Mines Ltd. (TSX.V: CRO) reported last week that metallurgical testing of ore from their Kenbridge Nickel Project in northwestern Ontario achieved excellent metal recoveries for nickel and copper. The objectives of the metallurgical program were to determine optimized flotation conditions and grinding design criteria for the Kenbridge feasibility study and to maximize metal recoveries. Recovery from a blended representative sample of both underground and open pit material achieved 90% recovery for nickel and 94% for copper. An updated NI 43-101 resource estimate for Kenbridge is expected in the next few weeks; that resource estimate will include high grade intersections made during last season's drilling. CEO Dean MacEachern tells us more about their plans for Kenbridge, as well as other projects in the company's portfolio, in our Smartstox interview available at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/cro.php.
Rocher Deboule Minerals Corp. (TSX.V: RD; Pink Sheets: RDBHF) had a pair of announcements last week. The first announced that the NI43-101 qualifying report and initial resource estimate for their Artillery Peak, AZ manganese prospect has been completed. The indicated resource is comprised of 9,272,442 tons of 3.79% manganese, with another 2,553,000 tons of 3.82% manganese in the inferred category. Artillery Peak is the largest known manganese deposit in the USA. The company's second news release last week announced that they had entered into a letter of intent to aquire 12 coal permit applications, grouped into two separate areas some 100 kms apart. The claims are in western Saskatchewan where a new coal-rush is underway. The company's CEO, Larry Reaugh, talks to us about Rocher Deboule's properties and their exploration activities in our Smartstox interview available at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/rd.php.
Kootenay Gold Inc. (TSX-V: KTN) last week released more assay results from the ongoing 2008 summer drill program at their Jumping Josephine Gold Project joint venture in southeastern BC. Attractive intersections include 8.31 g/t gold over 8 metres, and 7.01 g/t gold over 2 metres. Kootenay and their joint partner also announced a 3-D Induced Polarization geophysical survey covering a circular 2km diameter aeromagnetic feature that includes the JJ Main Discovery Zone has now been completed; preliminary results show a large zone of elevated chargeability occurs directly below and aligned with the JJ Main Zone structure in a northeast orientation. Kootenay's president Jim McDonald talks more about the Jumping Josephine, and the company's other projects in BC and Mexico in our Smartstox interview with him, available at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/ktn.php.
